Fact Checked by Pat McLoone

Could this finally be the year for the New York Jets to make their first Super Bowl appearance since 1969?

The Jetsā€™ Super Bowl odds are much higher than in recent years with the acquisition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers in late April. That has made for astronomical interest in New York sports betting.

So, how does Rodgers rate at this stage of his career as what EmpireStakes.com terms as ā€œcost-valuableā€ quarterback?

We utilized key QB stats (completion percentage, passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing touchdowns) from Pro-Football-Reference.com as well as the 2023 cap hit rank from OverTheCap.com to establish an aggregate passing rank.

To qualify for this list, players must be the expected starter for 2023 and have started in at least 12 games in 2022.
