New York Sports Betting Preview: Yankees Huge Favorite Over Lowly A’s

With the best record in Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees have been very good to New York sports bettors this season.

After being no-hit by three Houston Astros pitchers on Saturday, the Yankees (53-20, .726) found themselves down 3-0 with no hits through six innings on Sunday. They then came back in dramatic fashion with three home runs, capped by a three-run blast by Aaron Judge in the bottom of the 10^th inning, to give New York a 6-3 victory and split the four-game home series with the Astros.

Giancarlo Stanton got things started in the seventh inning with a solo home run to end the no-hit bid. DJ LeMahieu tied the game at 3-3 with a two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth inning, setting the stage for Judge’s heroics.

The win marked the Yankees 10^th walk-off win and its 22^ndcomeback of the season.

New York has an 11-game lead over the Boston Red Sox in the American League East, is 6-4 over its last 10 games and improved to 31-9 at home. The Yankees begin a three-game series tonight at Yankee Stadium against the worst team in baseball, the Oakland Athletics.

Monday Morning Futures Update

As of Monday morning MLB betting at BetMGM, the Yankees are a whopping -1200 to win the AL East Division, +190 to take home the AL crown (Astros are second at +275) and remain tied with the Los Angeles Dodgers at +450 to win the World Series.

The Astros and New York Mets are next, tied at +650, to win baseball’s Fall Classic.
