The New York Knicks look to continue their revival from last season as the 2023-24 campaign tips off later this month.

As the NBA season get closer, EmpireStakes utilized historical data from SportsOddsHistory.com to see how the Knicks have done against their preseason win total dating back to 2010-11. Currently, the Knicksā€™ 2023-24 win total sits at 44.5 at New York sportsbooks. Win totals for the 2019-20 were not included due to the shortened season.

Knicks Starting to Surpass Expectations

Dating back to 2010-11, the Knicks have hit their win total five times (41.67%), including two of the last three seasons. In the four seasons with a win total above .500, the Knicks have gone over just one time (25%) in the 2012-13 season.

Last season the Knicks (47-35) finished fifth in the Eastern Conference, winning five of their last seven regular season contests. They won their first-round playoff series against Cleveland, 4-1, before bowing to Miami in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, 4-2.
