The red-hot Yankees are not cooling down and NY Sports Betting players have wagered them to the point that oddsmakers are giving them serious props.

BetMGM Sportsbook New York this afternoon had the Yankees for the first time this season as co-favorites with the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the World Series at +450.

With the most wins in baseball, by far, the Yankees (50-17, .746) continue their six-game road trip with the middle game of a three-game set Tuesday night as they visit the Tampa Bay Rays at 7:10 p.m. ET (YES Network, 7:10).

Even on the road, the Yankees are favored on New York sports betting apps.

Nestor Cortes (6-2, 1.94 ERA) will start for the Yankees as a -185 moneyline betting favorite tonight with a -1.5 run spread at +100. The Rays (36-31, .537) are a +150 moneyline underdog with +1.5 runs at -125. The over/under run total is 7.

How Hot Are the Yankees?

The Yankees have won nine of their last 10 games and have posted a road record of 21-10. They lead the American League East Division by a staggering 12 games over the Toronto Blue Jays and 13.5 over the rival Boston Red Sox.

New York is on an incredible 121-game win pace.

The Rays are in fourth place, 14 back, but are only a half-game out in the AL wild-card race.

The Yankees finish the series against their AL East foe Wednesday, before returning home to begin a seven-game homestand Thursday night against the Houston Astros (four games) and the Oakland Athletics (three games).
