The last provider to join the ranks of mobile New York sportsbooks is keeping the momentum going by announcing its own deal Monday with the team leading Major League Baseball in victories.

Rhode Island-based Bally's Corporation announced a marketing partnership with the New York Yankees that will make its mobile sports betting product, the BallyBet New York sports app, an official sports betting partner.

This is BallyBet New York’s first sports team partnership in New York. The operator became the ninth and final approved online sports betting operator to go live in the state on July 7, six months after the state’s historic launch.

FanDuel New York is also an official sports betting partner of the Yankees.

“This is a great partnership that will give Bally Bet and our other Bally’s Interactive brands terrific visibility in New York,” Adi Dhandhania, chief operating officer of Bally's Interactive North America, said in a news release. “The Yankees’ history as a franchise and their popularity as a global brand speaks for itself.”

Yankees Have Been Dominating AL

People with their eyes on New York MLB betting know the Yankees are more than living up to the hype this season.

With the trade deadline a day away, the Yankees find themselves with an MLB-leading 69 wins. They have a record of 69-34 (.670 percentage) and lead the American League East by 11½ games over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Caesars New York lists the Yankees as a prohibitive -5000 favorite to win the AL East with Toronto next at +2200. Caesars also has the Yankees favored to win the AL at +150 (with the Houston Astros next at +200). To win the World Series, the Yankees’ odds are +350. Only the Los Angeles Dodgers (at +300) have better odds.

The Yankees open a three-game homestand tonight against the Seattle Mariners.

Features of the Agreement

In the agreement, Bally’s can use Yankees trademarks and marketing designations for its five entities: Bally Bet, Monkey Knife Fight (its official daily fantasy sports partner); Bally Casino (its official iGaming partner); Bally Play (its official free-to-play gaming partner) and Bally’s Casino Atlantic City.

Bally’s also will have LED advertising inside Yankee Stadium on the outfield wall, field-facing walls on the Main Level bars in leftfield and rightfield, the Terrace Level ribbon board and throughout the Great Hall.

They also will receive an in-game feature on the centerfield video board and other brand-enhancing activations.

“We are excited to begin this partnership with Bally’s,” said Michael J. Tusiani, the Yankees’ senior vice president of partnerships. “We hope that their branding in Yankee Stadium along with their in-Stadium customer engagement will greatly strengthen Bally's overall gaming presence in New York.”

Bally Bet is now in six states and is an authorized gaming operator of four professional leagues: MLB, NHL, NBA and WNBA. In addition to the Yankees, Bally's has team partnerships with the Cleveland Browns (NFL), Nashville Predators (NHL) and Phoenix Mercury (WNBA).
