Mobile New York sports betting continues to rattle the keys on calculators throughout the state. With skyrocketing numbers, the Empire State no doubt will surpass its neighbor as king with one week left in the month.

New Jersey currently holds the record for online sports betting handle for a single month at $1.3 billion set in October 2021.

After three full weekends of operation, the state of New York has a sports betting handle of $1.175 billion. That handle comes in a mere 16 days with four operators since the Jan. 8 debut and BetMGM since Jan. 17. The handle from this weekend, which includes the AFC and NFC conference championship games, is sure to easily allow New York to beat the all-time monthly national record.
